1. HOW IS NACOD FUNDED?

NACOD is currently funded by membership dues and from donations from well-wishers like you.

2. WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR NACOD MEMBERSHIP?

To be a NACOD member you must pay an initial joining fee and monthly dues. The current joining fee is US$50 and the monthly fee is US$20

3. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF JOINING NACOD MEMBERSHIP?

100% of your membership fees are used to fund developmental projects in Nyanyadzi. So, you receive the satisfaction of having contributed to the betterment of Nyanyadzi residents and being part of the solution to Nyanyadzi problems. You also have the opportunity to share your ideas and help decide on projects.

4. HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHICH PROJECTS TO UNDERTAKE?

NACOD board members meet monthly to discuss projects that have been presented by members of the Nyanyadzi community. Each project is assessed on its own merit. Projects are picked depending on impact, urgency, cost, and funds availability.

5. WHO PAYS THE NACOD BOARD FOR THEIR TIME & EFFORT?

The NACOD board along with the NACOD members contribute their time, talent and treasure freely. They are volunteers and therefore not paid for their service.

6. DOES NACOD HAVE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES?

No. All individuals in NACOD are volunteers. However, we periodically source vendors and contractors to do the work required for some projects. There vendors and contractors may be paid from the funds allocated to the project.
